At the September NEOFest on 9-25-2020, we introduced you to matriarch of a crime family Mabel who was facing her youngest son joining the police force.  Now she's back with another job for her youngest son.  Both monologues were written by the awesome playwright Scott Mullen and performed by me at the January 2024 NEOFest on Tuesday 1-23-2024. 

I wasn't the only one who loved the "Shelter Cat" monologue written for me by the brilliant playwright Scott Mullen. To my delight and gratitude, it was voted into the 2023 Best of the Best of NEOFest by the CDs who attend the monthly zoom NEOFests.  Here's the performance from the second night of the two-night Best of the Best - 12-5-2023  My thanks to those who made this happen and to Scott Mullen for giving it to me.

Mittens is a monologue written by Scott Mullen and performed at the Zoom Neofest on January 24, 2023 by Crystal Ann Taylor, as part of the theater group NeoEnsemble Theatre LA. It is about a cat abandoned by her human who is now living at a shelter and trying to get a new  home.

After two years of pandemic lockdown, NeoEnsemble Theatre LA celebrated Zeitgeist -- the fact that we've lived through interesting and unique times. Crystal Ann Taylor wrote and performed "Vet Visit" monologue for this celebration.

Crystal Ann Taylor wrote and performed "She Read My Diary" for the May NeoFest presented on May 3, 2022 on Zoom with her Neo Ensemble Theatre Group.

Crystal Ann Taylor performs monologue, "Locked Out Again," at Neo Ensemble Theatre's October NeoFest on Zoom on 10-26-2021. This monologue, written by the brilliant writer Scott Mullen, is a sequel to Scott's 2020 monologue, "Locked Out of Christmas" which can also be found on this channel. It's a year now since Mrs. Fishman had been locked out of her son's holiday festivities. Will this year be different?
